100 years ago: Billy Shea “motored down” from Trimble Springs to transact business affairs.

75 years ago: A meeting was held at the district courtroom for project leaders and others interested in clothing work.

50 years ago: Out of all who attended the event, Mrs. Randall Taylor walked away from the Durango Garden Club Flower Show with most of the prizes and awards.

25 years ago: A 21-year-old Ignacio man and a horse were involved in a wreck eight miles east of Bayfield on U.S. Highway 160. The man was uninjured, but the horse was not so fortunate. It died.
